What size do you recommend for my pet?
We designed each clip size to correspond with the different sizes of your pet. However, there are certain factors to consider when making your decision.
Size of Your Pet
Do you have a small animal? If so, you may want to choose the Extra Small Clip as opposed to the Medium or the Large. The height of your animal may help determine his or her comfort level with the clip.
Size of the Collar
Each size clip is also designed to fit on specific collar sizes. While the Small, Medium, and Large Clips will fit on any size D-ring, you may find that the Extra Small & Small Clip is hard to get off a larger size D-ring. This is simply due to the diameter of the clip. Using the Small Clip on a larger size D-ring will leave less space for the clip gate to open.
While each of the sizes is easy to use, some may find using the gate on the Small Clip is harder because it smaller. If you have concerns due to joint pain or diminished motor skills, we would recommend using the Medium or Large Clips
